Gee, which side has the guns...? Actually, you might be surprised. I live in work in the People's Republic of the San Francisco Bay Area. In fact, many staunch left-wingers out here are actually gun owners (I know that I was surprised to learn this). I have been to a gun range near San Francisco a few times with a friend, and there were always plenty of people there practicing. Liberals that I know around here also tell me that many of their liberal friends own guns. A co-worker of mine, a liberal who lives in San Francisco, legally owns a few guns (one a 50 caliber Desert Eagle), practices with them, and knows how to use them. I am reasonably certain that he is not alone. So, don't get complacent listening to all of the granola crunching, anti-gun talk on the left. A lot of it seems to be just that: talk. If push ever comes to shove, we should not be surprised to find out that they are just as well (or better) armed than the Patriots in the Midwest whom they despise so much. Many in the anti-gun left are hypocrites (I am SHOCKED!!), and do not practice what they preach. Something to keep in mind.

How about the woman with the chimpanzee that went nuts and ripped her friend to pieces. She just smacked of liberal Democrat. But guess what? When the chimp snapped, she grabbed a gun out of her nightstand and frantically tried to shoot the thing. Even an unhinged person who would take baths with a chimpanzee and feed him wine was smart enough to do what had to be done. I mean, what was the alternative? Eh, big whoop. How many of them know how to conduct themselves under fire? Tactics under a sustained firefight? Movement to contact? Team bounding? In other words, how many are vets of the military or police force? These sorry libs will pop a few rounds off until their mags are empty, then curl up into a ball and pray to Gaia to save them.

I too am in the Bay Area and the lefties I know think their .22 rifles and handguns will it for them.

I always laugh and ask them if they ever took the time to consider why hunters use .30cal and above.

They honestly believe they are going to shoot an attacker right between the eyes. LOL

They ask me what I would do and I tell them “why mess around?”

“First, who the hell want to be so close you can shoot them in between the eyes?”.

“Second, I prefer to range them at a couple hundred yards”

They always chime in and say they can hit a couple hundred yards out.

I laugh saying “Maybe. Don’t think so and your bullets effect range is a little further back”.

“Use .308 for a long distance cordless drill or to reach out and touch somebody. I ain’t interested in meeting the person who wants to do me harm”.
