The only problem with this is that one of the newspapers in question published a story about the birth announcement being in its newspaper. Presumably they have access to their own morgue and would be honest enough to confirm that such an announcement actually ran in the paper. That's why I called this the best 'available' evidence. The idea that the microfiche (from multiple sources including the newspaper) has been doctored is fairly credible but not conclusive on its own until hard copies of the newspaper emerge and can disprove that the announcement ran as has been shown.
I’ll bet they were shocked to be reminded of those facts.
Try Avast anti-virus. I’ve used it for 5+ yrs and it’s free. Never had a problem and they update it daily sometimes more than once a day!!!
So, in the "eye's" of Hawaiian law circa early 1960's, their marriage would still be valid even though it was a polygamous/bigamous one (assuming HI as place of marriage)? It's a valid marriage?
I mean you no disrespect, but I can’t engage in the “presume” or “suppose” game. I have thousands of reports in The Obama File. Many of them are contradictory.
I have repeatedly written that the more I read about Obama, the less I KNOW about him. His mythology is replelte with holes, lies, misinformation, contradictions, and more lies.
I never suggested that the microfilm/microfiche was doctored. I have no evidence of that.
I want the original newspaper examined by a forensic document examiner.
I did have to chuckle at newspaper and honest in the same sentence.
Cheers . . .
Wow, this is low, even for you. The part in quotation marks IS capitalized in the opinion. And Vettel is mentioned by name in the decision six times.
For most purposes you can think of, almost certainly so.
It might be "voidable"--subject to summary dissolution although that does not appear likely for the reason that an annulment would probably have been quicker and cheaper for Stanley Ann than a divorce proceeding--the fact she didn't go for that is an indication that under Hawaii law, the defect would not be grounds to dissolve the marriage ab initio.
Lolo came to US in 1962...
9/18/1962...
You’re not really presenting a rational objection. Microfiche is a standard way to archive newspapers in libraries. One of the newspapers in question is vouching for the birth announcement. You’re asking for a forensic examination without providing a solid reason why one would be needed. At least for those who think the microfiche copies have been doctored, they have provided rationale for wanting original newspaper.
You're presenting a logical fallacy. These cases have been conveniently ignored on the basis of standing, not disapproval of Vattel. You're using this argument because your previous claim about Vattel was thoroughly debunked.
Interesting. Thanks for the clarification and opinion. Much appreciated.
Yes, he does make it clear how talented he is, doesn’t he? I believe he died when he was drunk and walked in front of a car, didn’t he?
Not too smart.
but not conclusive on its own until hard copies of the newspaper emerge

I usually don’t pay much attention to this source...but in this case...I think We the People have an issue with a certain former “national security” advisor....

he and BO SR and juniors mama were in college at the same time IN HAWAII BEFORE THAT - and junior was born in 1961 - BEOFRE Lolo came to the US - and mama had already left Hawaii with a baby junior - under a year old - for college in Washington State.
She and Lolo got together again a few years later and married - and moved to Jakarta.
So what - as you keep posting - does Lolo coming to the states in 1962 have to do with ANYthing? He an mama were ‘friends’ in college before she took up with BO sr., Junior was born in 1961, she left Hawaii for Washington soon after and LoLo spent some time - or at least applied to - for college in the US in 1962.
Where, in that time line, precludes him from the possibility of being juniors biological father?
I'm done with this. If you can't figure that out that time line - ah well.
I thought he was killed in a wreck because he was driving drunk, but I’m not sure—it may have been the version you mention. He was in at least one previous serious accident when driving drunk.
If you are going to do a wholesale cut-n’paste from The Obama File, you might have the courtesy of including a source/link.

Re: I thought he was killed in a wreck because he was driving drunk
According to his daughter, Auma, Senior was an alcoholic who was extremely found of Scotch”. He killed a man in a drunk driving accident in the early 1970’s.
In 1982, Obama Senior killed himself in an alcohol-related car accident in Kenya, leaving three wives, one mistress, six sons and a daughter — there is also the possibility of an eight progeny via the mistress.
Although Obama claims Obama Senior was an atheist, Obama Senior was buried as a Muslim. The rival families of Obama’s late father are still suing each other over his meager estate.
One of Senior’s former drinking partners, Kenyan writer Philip Ochieng said that his friend’s downfall was his weak character. In fact he was a menace to life, said Ochieng. “He had many extremely serious accidents. Both his legs had to be amputated. They were replaced with crude false limbs made from iron.
“He was just like Mr. Toad [from Wind In The Willows], very arrogant on the road, especially when he had whisky inside. I was not surprised when I learned how he died.”
“Although charming, generous and extraordinarily clever, Senior was also imperious, cruel and given to boasting about his brain and his wealth,” he said.
“He was excessively fond of Scotch. He had fallen into the habit of going home drunk every night. His boasting proved his undoing and left him without a job, plunged him into prolonged poverty and dangerously wounded his ego.”
The Daily Mail quotes a relative of Obama as saying, “We told him [Obama] how his father would still go to Kezia and it was during these visits that she became pregnant with two more children. He also had two children with Ruth.” [Kids 5 and 6]
According to the Daily Mail, even after losing both legs in the car accident, Obama senior fathered yet another son, his eighth child, [Okay, they got me, that would only be 7 by my count. Not sure old BHO, Sr. was keeping a close count either] by yet another woman, and “continued to come home drunk.”
Regardless of the motives, in “Dreams from my Father” Obama never states precisely how many wives his father had, or how many half-brothers and -sisters he has from different mothers, whether married to his father or not.
This is the guy who Obama romanticized in his first book, writing, “It was into my fathers image, the black man, son of Africa, that Id packed all the attributes I sought in myself...”
Some role model — Senior was a serial bigamist. He abandoned all of his his wives and children. He became a wife-beater and drunk. His arrogance destroyed his government career. He killed a man and lost both legs in alcohol-related accidents and eventually killed himself behind the wheel — hammered.
