Thanks. I realize I'm grasping at straws trying to figure out a reason we need 34 Navy ships, and a gigantic retinue over there with him. We have that, and then we get this strange launch.

Before this launch a lot of people were speculating that something was going to happen during Obama's grand tour... and it sure did.

That may be true. However, if SOMETHING were to happen, you’d think it’d be something more than a missile contrail that no one can explain and the impression of the entire US military scratching their heads.

This accomplishes nothing. No ‘credible threat’, no reason to ramp up the military readiness levels, just a bunch of people going “WTF just happened?”.
