I don't think so. If the launch was 35 miles offshore, and the video was shot close to shore, that chopper was nowhere near the launch. The chopper had to be close to the video camera.

I had this discussion with a friend subsequent to my post. If it had been a military helicopter positioned as an observation platform, it should have been out to sea closer to the launch, right?
