Well, that’s actually from a photograph in a biker magazine from the late ‘70s or early ‘80s of a motocross wipeout with the bike’s carrying on while the rider is face-down in the dust. It was captioned, “You go on, Old Paint. I’ll just lie here and rest for a while.”
And that’s from some old oater spoof that had a similar situation with a horse, but I forget exactly what and when.
