Apparently Olbermann could give Dems all kinds of fawning media coverage, using NBC corporate resources, and that is hunky-dory with the NBC brass. But let him make an actual contribution with his personal cash, and that gets him yanked off the air.

Rather strange sense of ethics if you ask me.

I agree. NBC isn’t trying to pass Olbermann off as some sort of objective news anchor, are they? I think it’s BS that he got suspended for putting his money where his fat mouth is. It doesn’t really make much sense to me, given his obvious liberalism.
