If people take a look at the county by county voting they will see that 1 county controls this state. I don’t know of another state that is so controlled. Millions? of acres are controlled by people in downtown apartments in Seattle. I am sick of it.

I don’t quite get why Seattle is so liberal, either. In theory it would appear to me to be a city that could potentially be conservative.
The weather is far from perfect (exactly what are Calilfornians seek there?). The outdoorsman has a home there. It’s one of the most predominantly white major cities in the country (i.e. doesn’t have a massive black population that is going to vote Democrat even if the (D)’s are threatening to take their first born children).
That said, it’s decidedly liberal, has a massive moronic hippy population, and one of the most depressing lack of viable churches I’ve ever seen. I loved the beauty of Western Washington, but really, the local populace just brings the place down even more than the cloud cover in the winter months.
