You’re a conservative who had never heard of freerepublic? Obviously, you’re pretty internet literate if you figured out how to sign up and initiate your own thread for your very first post here. Gosh, you even figured out how to put the thread in the appropriate categories. That’s pretty clever...making it even more surprising that you’d never heard of FR before. Wow, good for you.

So, your conclusion, following this tsunami of a midterm victory for conservative Republicans is that we shouldn’t pop the cork on the champagne, because now we’re really screwed. Damned if we do and damned if we don’t. It’s hopeless. We are doomed.

Welcome to The Apocalypse. Welcome to Free Repulic.

Hey, we all had a first day we heard of Free Republic.

New people are born every day. New people get on the internet every day. New people get interested in politics every day. Daily, people change their political views. Daily, new people become adults or start voting.

Not uncommon. I just told a good conservative acquaintance this morning about FR, and sent him a follow-up email with the URL address. Believe me, there are a lot of good, strong, conservative people out there who still get their news from surfing news sites, and don't know forums such as this.
