The talk about the 1099 provision is nothing other than a smokescreen.

The talk about the 1099 provision is nothing other than a smokescreen.”

Don’t know if YOU run a business that will be affected by the 1099 provisions.

It starts with 1-1-2011-—less than 2 months from now.

I do bookkeeping for 2 businesses that are 1 man operations. I have done books for 40 years for one person & over 37 years for the other. We have been scrupulous about sending out correct 1099’s for all those years.

THIS provision is hardly a ‘SMOKE SCREEN’ for either of my clients, or for any small business.

So I don’t have to re-type everything here, please go to thread #2619559 “The Tax Man Cometh” & read my post #3. It is very burdensome.

If there is any confusion after you read what I wrote, I will be glad to expand with you privately.

I don’t even know how many 1099’s would have to be printed to accomplish what the HELLTH care bill calls for.

Does that statement mean you believe it is not in the bill?
