This is patently unConstitutional. But if McDonald’s - yet again - chooses to aquiese to leftist/environmentalists demands then so be it. I will not get all bent out of shape about it.

McDonald’s has a long history of caving in to every demand of leftists. If they choose not to use their vast corporate power to do more than express their displeasure (kinda like a UN letter) then I ain’t getting all jazzed up either.

Man up, McDonald’s!

McDonalds and others in Big Fast Food are making a big mistake if they think they can appease the Billion dollar racket of “Public Health”.

In a couple of decades, the racketeers will incrementally torture them. They’ll end up like Big Tobacco. (still profitable but a burger will cost $25 after taxes and litigation costs).

This is patently unConstitutional.

It's colossally stupid, sure, but I don't know what part of the U.S. or California Constitutions it violates.

This is patently unConstitutional.

Why?

This isn't the federal government, so it isn't an issue of overstepping federal authority.

I'm not aware of anything in the US Constitution that bans state and local governments from making such stupid laws.

Are you saying it violates the California constitution?

One of the points of federalism is that some states can allow such foolishness if it makes their citizens happy, and people in other states can scoff at the idiots and point out how they are happy they don't live there.
