I wish I could agree with you, but the demographics of Dallas County make it very difficult for Republicans to win now. Dallas County will be Democratic for some time.
Which is why inevitably the City of Dallas is going to wind up looking like Detroit.
It really isn’t as bad as you think. Before conservatives took over the state, the only Republican anyone knew in Dallas county was Jim Collins in district 3. What is happening now is more of a hiccup in the longer scheme of things.
