He didn’t defeat her. She defeated herself. “I am not a witch. I’m you.” How dumb. It’s sophomoric. She needs to get seasoned as a politician. Rove was right.

Christine had a right to assume that she could count on the support of Rove on the night that she won the primary. Instead of support, Rove tripped her right out of the starting gate for the general election.

Given the challenges she faced, Christine ran one hell of a race.

Rove, for his part, disgraced himself. And, it won't be forgotten by a whole lot of people who once supported him.

Karl rove put the knife in O’Donnell and then blames her for the bloody mess on the carpet.

If he’d kept his elitist trap shut or offered words of support, he’d be in great shape to humbly offer a better path to victory, but as it stands he not only didn’t help, he actively, using the tools of his trade, the words of a pundit, to help a hard leftist defeat her.

I don’t care if he’s brilliant, or if he was right about her being doomed from the start, he’s a petulant turncoat corrupt bastard, and he needs to pay for it.
