Doesn't matter. I'm a NRA member and supporter, and I certainly didn't vote for Chet. Now the NRA has a new incumbent. The NRA tries to protect itself somewhat against what we may see tonight. If Reid loses and we don't capture the senate, the rabid anti-gun Schumer will be the next majority leader. The NRA wants to keep enough dems to stall any anti-gun legislation, that's what their goal is, not to support all conservative ideology. The NRA will take up with our newly elected, if they are pro-gun.

I understand their position. But it is convoluted!
Conservatism and support for the constitution and it’s amendments go hand in hand. If a Republican is anti-gun, they should be rejected publicly by the NRA.
They failed to read the tea leaves and will and have suffered support for it!
