Another way to look at it is that DNC credits Bush with Republican Victory. That Bush sure has some long coattails.

Too many people are looking for work or struggling to get by as a result of eight years of irresponsible economic policies (and despite creating more private sector jobs in the last eight months than President Bush did in 8 years)

"Too many?"
Ha Ha freakin' HA!

Not so many as the retard DNC would have us believe. As I posted on another thread this morning...

"This addresses the morons on talk shows supporting the First Maggot claiming that the U.S. economy went south in 2007, during Bush's Presidency.

"Morons, by definition, are incapable of grasping the concept of cause and effect.

"The handwriting was on the wall in 2007. Business and Citizens with a brain saw, in 2007, that there was a chance, however improbable, that a radical socialist progressive could ---even remotely --- be elected president due to factors which have been discussed at length since then.

"The economy responded rationally until the results were in.

"The results were the biggest disaster for the US outside of Pearl Harbor, WW2 and 911."

The top 2 greatest Dumbocrap excuses: it’s Dubya’s fault and you’re racist.

If I were a "normal" Black, that is, non-welfare, non-sports, non-entertainment, non-criminal, non-hyphenated identity, I would want to hide for the rest of my life in shame.

Unfortunately, the "First Black President" wildly exceeded the negative expectations of the most wild-eyed, spit-spraying racist in America --- all by himself; well, with a LOT of help from the first Saquatch, and the 60s criminal "Progressives."

And that "First Black President" thing can never happen again. Ever.

They’re engaging in revisionism before the the election starts. That’s rich.

It wasn't because Bush was distracted by the war. It was because he consciously desired some kind of united North America.
Interesting take on it. I didn't think he was distracted by the war as much as I thought he had (in his estimation and in the estimation of his advisors, such as Rove) expended all his political capital on the war and didn't have any left to spare for things like shutting down the border and fighting the rats to save the banking system.

But on the border issue, maybe you're right. Maybe he was doing exactly what he wanted on that. Which makes him a fool.

There is no such thing as national security without border security and Iraq was a war of national security.

Of course it’s Bush’s fault. When he tossed that opening pitch the other night, the voters realized how much they miss him.
