If obama wants an analogy, I’ll give him the recovery after 911 — jobs were lost, people were afraid to travel, subway stops in NYC were wiped out, stores gone, etc., etc. Did President Bush cry and feel sorry for himself or blame Clinton for the attack? No. He lifted the country’s spirits and we persevered. That’s what a leader does. We would be out of this recession by now if he had done the right things.
