Voted at 3:30 in Montgomery County, MD. Ghost town. Check-in guy said turnout was good, compared to the primary. Hardly a ringing endorsement in deep-blue territory.
Voted an hour ago in a bluish area of NOVA. Ghost town as well. Turnout was heavy early AM, which is a good sign for this area, since there are a fair number of people who lean Republican and tend to vote before work. Not an Obama sticker to be seen, whereas in the gubernatorial race, there were quite a few, at exactly the same time of day.
I talked with someone outside for a while, and the only people who went in took Republican sample ballots. A stark contrast from 2 years ago, when the place was wall to wall idiots.
