Yeah, I thought the EXACT same thing; objectively, O'Malley's ads were just a lot better. O'Malley got a lot of mileage linking Ehrlich to Wall Street.
It was close in the polls there for a while, I actually thought he had a chance. I really like Ehrlich; his first term though it seemed like the biggest issue was casinos which was a huge mistake.
Well I got to be careful cause some very rude person accused me of thread hijacking, evidently in charge. But I guess since you responded to me it’s okay, ask matginzac.
I think it was the commercial O’Malley put out about Ehrlich and how he called increasing fees not “taxes”.
Increasing fees are NOT taxes, technically. but the O’Malley campaign did a good job with that commercial.
This plus Ehrlich really has no charisma, he’d already been Merryland’s Governor once. He was a good Governor but the Dems succeeded in demonizing him like they do so well.
If the pubs had run a different candidate I think they’d have a shot.
You think it’s okay for me to discuss this on this thread?
