How sure are you? In 2012, 21 Dems + 2 Independents who caucus with dems, are on the chopping block with Repubs only having 10 to protect. Add tonight and the Repubs would only have to gain 7 or so to maintain a majority. People see through the media, especially with hard times, so that strategy will go down too, especially if Obama can't produce.

I think Maringa is saying that the Senate will have been Dem for six years, 2007 to 2013.
