My call about 4 days ago was 52 and 8, while I wanted more. The fact that we had to defend so many senate races still makes 7 or 8 a great night. In 2008 everyone was saying Senate would be up to 65 dems because of the number of seats we were defending in 2010. KY 6 looks to be swinging to R. To me 60+ is an Tsunami, I liked my 52. I will be happy to hear we do even better but this is going to be a great night and a slap to Obama and Rats either way.
It is typical expectation rhetoric. R’s win 7-8 senate and 50+ house dems and media will say Republicans over hyped the event when in fact it is a huge win.
