Post what you're seeing, hearing in your district, county or state during the day and evening- anecdotal or otherwise!
GOTV!!!!!
Republicans have gained 61 seats in the House of Representatives today.
It was a great day for conservatives. The radical far leftist agenda has been slowed down. Just think we now have a lot more conservatives vs. RINOs in congress. Now the goal is to keep the momentum going.
Don’t worry about Harry Reid. A) I think it was stolen. The polls do not match the actual vote. Plus with the conservative wave that took place it does not add up. B) 1/3 of the Senate will be up for election in 2012. More Democrats than this time, and the will not be able to blame all the problems on congress and not Obama. The Senate is still controlled by the Rats.
The people for the most part have spoken (minus the rats book of dirty tricks).
Calif races
CA 11 Harmer-R (48) , McNerney-D 47 (89 percent counted)
actual margin is 1667
CA 20 Democrat incumbent costa is ahead of GOP challenger Vidak, by 18 votes. more than 41K votes cast. 52 percent of precincts counted.

Idaho was just called for Labrador.
In Hawaii, it appears that Djou , the GOP incumbent, lost by about 8 percent. That was a fluke anyway, since he won the seat because two libs split the Dem vote.
So that will wind up as a Democrat pickup of a GOP seat that should have never been lost by the Dems in the first place.
Djou appeared to be a good guy, but the voting history was just against him.

If only Hoffman had dropped out earlier, we’d have taken NY 23.
take that Minnick!

OK, I slept for several hours, since I need to be at work at 0500 EDT. Looks like we picked up 6 Senate seats, 60 house seats, and 8 governorships. So far...
A good day IMHO!
And where is the The State of the Union held...hee, hee, hee.

You can write Oberstar’s political obituary now.
I’m calling it for Cravack.
I think a call is coming soon

The best election since 1938, and going into that election we had only 88 House seats.
Yup - and we’ve knocked off scores of entrenched Democrats. We didn’t get them all but we made most of them political roadkill.
And surviving Red State Democrats have a bulls-eye painted now on their backs.
AP calls Chip Cravaack (R) in MN08 !!!!
A huge upset! This wasn’t expected.
And Oberstar is really gone!
Indeed!!! A huge upset!!
So just how many white Dems are left in the South? Not too many, I suppose.
My dad is from Ely in the 8th. He was DFL though.
There won’t be too many Blue Dogs left after tonight. And Red State Democratic Senators have to be very worried.
