I’m not surprised- I’m actually surprised West is doing so well in his district- that’s deep lib territory.

How’s it going in your neck of the sandbar? :)

The average Senate gain in this situation is +3.5, the Reps are already +3 with likely +7 or 8 before it’s over. It’s hard to say we didn’t do pretty damned well there, and the House is a tsunami.

And the Rep. Governor pick-ups will pay dividends down the road.

LOL — well, Townhall still shows Lollar ahead but just marked Hoyer the winner.

Poop!! CNN and Fox just did the same thing. :(

The New York Times is now showing us now up 116 Republican House seats to just 67 Democrat: http://elections.nytimes.com/2010/results/house.

Again, I can’t figure out what’s going on in Palm Beach as far as vote counting. All they’ve counted, according to the Florida Elections site, are the Absentee ballots. No precinct reporting. I don’t get it!

“Fox news is basically unwatchable. Rove (Compromised), Williams (token), Kelly (irritating), Trippi (Devil-who cares?)”

Yeah, but Megyn Kelly makes up for all that. Sigh...

With Romney's help, and Massachusetts' hatred for Romney's clone Baker,
Deval Patrick has won as Governor.

Team Romney can add this DNC win to their belt
along with their attacks on O'Donnell and the rest.

“The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.

The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.”
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006

"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
“Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,”

[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."
- Boston Globe, 11/8/2006

I remember about this time back in 2004, Specter was trailing 30% to 70%, yet they had already called the election for Specter. Republican votes will come in late in Pennsylvania, so don’t count Toomey out (although I must say I don’t have much faith in a state that would elect Bob Casey).

For sure, when he told of his history his family history, what he went through in the campaign, it was like being there. If we had an army like him we could take back the country once and for all. He’s a true patriot.

It wasn’t a rout but it was pretty darn good.

I’m happy.
