Mr. Carville, the celebrity strategist behind Bill Clintons presidential campaigns, was warning a hurricane would descend on Washington on Nov. 1. The only question: Whether it was a minor or a major one.

Mr. Carville concedes that he is more pessimistic than most Democrats about Tuesdays mid-term Congressional elections.
He thinks the Senate may go Republican, not just the House, since theyve always, historically, flipped together. Oh, and hes not sure Mr. Obama will run in 2012; he doesnt seem to like the job.
I hope Im wrong, he says of his outlook. Yet he doesnt seem especially troubled. After all, he believes, its not his partys fault, but larger forces conspiring against them.

Obama will not go quietly. Hes too arrogant and believes hes doing a great job. If nothing else, hes the unwanted guest who just hangs around after everyone has left. The Democrats are going to have to push him out-and it wont be easy”
Sure would be nice if Tuesday’s results would spill over into the Chicago Mayoral race.
IOW, it's all Bush's fault.
Ofcourse, he than reverts back to his Democrat mindset by saying that the TeaParty will not be able to handle being in power and turn on each other (wixhful thinking on his part)
I believe he is correct about Obama not wanting to run again.
