I knew all about how the Jews had to get out of Iran (most of them came here to L.A., I think!), but I recently met a couple from Iran who were Christian, and they said they had to escape as well when the Khomeini revolution began. I guess I didn’t realize there even were Christians there.
I am so glad the hostages are safe. I guess Jimmy Carter wasn’t in charge, or it would have taken 2 more years.
