Tapper was far better than most, but still not a terribly aggressive questioner, especially (of course) of liberals.
OTOH, the couple of shows that Jonathan Karl was allowed to anchor were among the best shows I've ever seen on the Sunday morning line up. (He was the one who stepped back and let Karl Rove and Plouffe go at it. Tapper wouldn't have had the guts to do that.)
With Karl as anchor, ABC might even have taken the number one spot from Fox News Sunday. But then the powers that be are more interested in political correctness than ratings, as their willful, multi-decade descent into irrelevancy amply illustrates.
