If I’m not mistaken, Behar took over Lynn Samuels’ radio slot in NYC. That would be in the ‘80s when I lacked the authority to fiddle with the car radios.
It was also about the time that “The Nanny” was popular. I guess there was a fad for JAPs in NY in those days.
By the way, after listening to Samuels, I thought Behar sounded like a fairy princess. But they had basically the same shtick.
