The correct response to this is for Freepers and conservatives of all flavors go vote a straight Republican ticket and then attempt to eat everything on the table. Run them out of gift cards.

The system is not really designed for that to work. The delivery system is targeted at people who would see $10 or a pack of cigs as similar to winning the lottery. To most of us, we would NEVER spend an hour in line with 500 people who can be bribed for $10.
