Okay, two different opinions on Buck's performance.
mwl8787 - Any GOP challenger that can get caught off-message in this economic environment is proving to be stupid, unprepared, and naive.
I agree, mwl that Buck's performance could have been better (based on how he did on Face The Nation a few weeks earlier), but I also hope that this new breed of citizen candidates is refreshing to a lot of voters. They are not polished DC insiders and are facing the full heat of the national media on the side of their dem. opponent for the first time.
Morgan in Denver - Buck will win. Bennet has never polled even close to 50% that I know of. This will probably be another of those surprises the media never saw coming.
That's my general gut feeling (but I'm not in CO.) It may be more of a squeaker than before last week's debate, but just think the trend is in the Repub/TP favor.

The complaint against Buck really are out of context. Buck caught himself and corrected the government/economy statement. More importantly, Buck was RIGHT! Less government intrusion helps business and the market.
Buck bucked the state party establishment and he has great support across the state. One of the pundits commented that once Buck is elected all these claims of him being extreme or out of touch will fall by the wayside.
Buck will do well, much better than what Bennet has done over these past two years as he’s bowed down to the great 0 and supported every bill Harry Reid put in front of him.
Not mentioned, other than local talk radio, is Bennet’s father was head of NPR for 12 years or so. None of the media seems to think it might be important to ask Bennet his opinion about Juan Williams getting canned unfairly.
