Thanks SJ. Again, I don’t mean to sound negative, not at all. But like I said, and you reiterated, they succeeded at what they do best. They had some comedian, with the video snippet shown on all the pundit shows, with the guy telling COD to read “the constitution for dummies”, that they don’t teach the constitution in the Harry Potter school, a big horse laugh hee-hah and folks, this kind of stuff resonates.

And did Rove or any of the GOP folks defend COD on how right she was? This morning Wallace threw Steele a bone and asked about COD. At which point, just suggesting it here, Steele could have said, throwing it out there guys, that COD WAS RIGHT ABOUT SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE NOT BEING IN THE CONSTITUTION!

Instead Steele mumbles about how all candidates make mistakes, make misstatements. Steele himself, the head of COD’s party, didn’t help her when Wallace served him up a softball to do so.

Lookit, y’all can’t change truth by just saying it over and over no more than the Dems can. COD got hornswoggled by that comment in the debate and as soon as she said it I cringed.

And she herself said that witch ad was a mistake. I tried with all my might to assure myself, told myself she was just being a big tongue-in-cheeky, which is probably true.

COD and her campaign evidently had no idea how mean and nasty liberals are. They have no sense of humor and such as satire and humorous self-deprecation zoom right over their mean heads.

But like I said, as I “man up”...I think there’s something very mysterious about the COD/Coons race and if I had to guess I’d say that everyone involved is very concerned about the turnout. Here’s the stats....3/4’s of the voters in Delaware lean Democrat. Kent county and Sussex county share the 25% that leans conservative though Sussex has grown greatly in recent years. Still you’re up against a very, very liberal group of folks who will vote how they’re told for a pack of smokes.

That being said, you got to get them out to vote cause they ain’t the sort to wake bright and chipper on election morn with a zeal for the ballot box. I’m quite sure that Biden and Obamer met with the unions, and they are mighty here in Delaware, and told them in no uncertain terms to get out and get those people to the polls.

THAT’s why I don’t think any pollsters are ready to pronounce the stats on this race just yet, because so very much, more so than in most other states I suspect, how this turns out depends so much on which voters go and vote.

With Castle, those Wilmington folks didn’t vote much either but the Dems didn’t care. They were happy to let Kent and Sussex county carry Castle cause he was...well he was a Dem in spirit. The Kent and Sussex people had been so brow-beat over the years that this is the only guy who can win that they elected him more than the Dems in Wilmington, that’s how that dynamic went.

THIS year there’s no telling where this will go.

For the record, I do NOT think COD’s comment in the Coons debate about sep of church and state will much affect this race accept maybe turn the tide with the mockery the libs have had with it for a few Independents who didn’t know how they were going to vote.

And for them to lay a loss of Toomy on COD is...well guys that’s a rumor gotta be being fostered by somebody in the Blue Blood GOP cause why would the Dems go searching for a reason why either COD or Toomey lost? That’s something the political parties of the losers tend to analyze for obvious reasons.

Fishtalk, it was so disappointing that so few came to her defense regarding this. Not only should more people have acknowledged that she was correct, but they should have elaborated that the establishment clause was designed to keep the government out of religion, not religion out of government, that the thinking was to prevent the government from forming a Church of the United States of America or some other national religion.

It’s not a hard concept to understand. It only gets complicated when elite libs try to play with the words.
