Friends, we have a chance to be in the victory party this November. Steven Palazzo has taken the lead in the polls, now is the time to ramp it up and get him over the finish line. Then we will have a rep that WILL be accountable to US.
Forwarded from our friends:

MEMORANDUM

RE: FINDINGS FROM SURVEY OF MS 4 VOTERS
DATE: OCTOBER 20, 2010
________________________________________________________________________
The Tarrance Group is pleased to present Palazzo for Congress with the key findings from a survey of voters in the 4th Congressional District of Mississippi. Responses to this survey of N=300 registered "likely" voters were gathered October 18-19, 2010. The margin of error associated with a sample of this type of +/- 5.8%.
KEY FINDINGS
Icumbent Democrat Congressman Gene Taylor is in danger of defeat, as Republican challenger Steven Palazzo has pulled into the lead in the race for Congress. Among voters overall, Palazzo leads Taylor by +2 points, 43% to 41%. Another 3% support other candidates, and 12% of voters are undecided.
Palazzo holds a +8 lead among voters who know both candidates (48% to 40%), and he leads by +9 among voters who say they are "extremely" likely to vote in the election (49% to 40%).
Another advantage for Palazzo is the intensity advantage of his voters. While 81% of Palazzo voters are extremely interested in the upcoming election, only 55% of Taylor voters feel the same way.
Voters have made the decision that it is time for a change. Only 36% say Taylor deserves re-election, while 45% say it is time for a new person in office.
The political environment is a clear advantage for Palazzo, as Republicans hold a +9 point lead on the generic congressional ballot. While 47% say they are supporting the Republican candidate, only 38% support the Democrat.
I give you my word that he is one.

Mrs. GBC and I honeymooned at the Broadwater some 28 years ago. Visited the Jefferson Davis home. Ate at Mary Mahoney's. I know MM's is still there, but Biloxi just is not the same place.
The local GOP has been in the lead opposing Taylor and confronting him. Theron Furr is head of the Jackson County GOP. He is an honest, decent, intelligent guy. His leadership has done more to put Taylor in danger than anything Barbour has done.
Yea, that’s the one I was thinking of .. thanks.
That's why I had to leave.
Hard to believe but I’ll take it.
I met my wife (43 years and counting) while I was a "pinger" stationed at Keesler AFB.
We would regularly comment about the changes that happened over the years, whenever we came back to the Gulf Coast to visit with her relatives.
We retired down here back in 2002, and the changes just keep on coming.
The heat of summer is a little more than I like, but other than than that, I enjoy the area. Great folks hereabout.
Holy crap....most Rs even like this guy....IF he’s in trouble, then I can assure you we are going to be retaking the House and maybe the Senate.........
I was a bit surprised to see that the NRCC started spending money against Gene Taylor...so I guess this just confirms there is real movement in that race. Wow.
Taylor should have switched parties before this election year. It might have saved him.
Gene throughout his career has never missed an opportunity to criticize Republicans. The RNCC has basically conceded the district to him and he has run against “tomato cans”,
unsupported at all by the RNCC except for Mike Lott, who also was not supported by the RNCC. Which lead to Gene’s “legend” of being unbeatable”.
His party of Obama, the Czars, Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank, etc. clashs with how MS votes.
the last 10 yrs or so....there are no good democrats....
I frequently vote for Taylor so I can say with a straight face I dont vote a straight GOP ticket. Guess Ill have to find a democrap dogcatcher to vote for if Taylor goes down. Wish hed join the GOP years ago.
His performance at his town hall meeting was so conservative and anti-Obama everyone there was begging him to change parties. I checked his voting record and from what I saw, he was pretty conservative. Although I do remember his repulsive questioning during the Waco hearings. What a punk.

Looks like the NRCC didn’t write it off this time around.
I don’t suppose that Bennie could be in any kind of difficulty?.....nah, not a snowball’s chance.....any conservatives still living in the 2nd?
If he were a Repub, he would be a RINO
