Funny, I’ve always had some doubts about the famous photo showing a jubilant young Shickelgruber at the armistice announcement. That one face in a sea of others is just a little too clear.

What are you talking about? I see dozens of faces, clearly depicted in the image.

This is not a photo of a “jubilant” crowd at the announcement of the armistice.

1. The Germans weren’t ‘jubilant’ over the armistice.
2. The armistice was 1918, not 1914.
3. Hitler was convalescing in a hospital in Northern Germany at the time, convalescing after war injuries, and was in no shape to jump around in a crowd.
4. He very well could have been in a crowd in Munich in August 1914, though, he enlisted pretty quickly after the war broke out. The story was that he saw this photo years later and said he was there that day, then they scoured with the magnifying glasses.
