In 2008, Chicago enjoyed a 103% voter turnout. That the Repubs didn’t spit lightening and challenge the vote is reason enough for the Repubs to become extinct.

Voter turnout in Chicago in 2008 was 71.5%, which was actually lower than 2004. Chicagoans were less passionate about their “own” candidate than they were for John Kerry or George Bush.
