Rove and others, need to be the “go to” guys for election advice. Unfortunately for Rove, his advice and counsel counted for nothing and it made him look particularly foolish. It was one of those moments in history when the people said in effect: Thanks for the advice, but we don’t need your help on this. So, if the people can get their own candidates elected, then who needs Rove? Rove had his future shown to him, and he reacted poorly.

Remember Tokyo Rove was secretly working for Mike Castle. Makes sense he threw a hissy fit when O’Donnell won. He put her in the media cycle so Bill Mahre could take it to the next level.

“Rove had his future shown to him, and he reacted poorly.”

In the end, their fear of losing power blinds them. If Rove had had the widsom to embrace O’Donnell’s victory he would be on the vanguard. Instead he has been marginalized.
