So refuse to book a plane which uses Chicago as a hub. Remind your business contacts that Chicago has given you reason to go elsewhere with your capital. Banks, insurance, construction, technology, manufacturing, etc.... Send the business to another state.
I would rather have pointy sticks poked in my eyes than connect through O’Hare. There is always some weather disaster or other hassle. What a nightmare. Chicago has appealed to me. I have been there in the spring, summer and winter and hated it.
