In a media exclusive, Townhall.com has obtained a brand new, eye-opening poll from California's 47th Congressional District--conducted by Public Opinion Strategies:
Van Tran is tied with Loretta Sanchez on the ballot test. Fully 39% of likely voters say they are supporting Van Tran, while 39% are backing Sanchez and 5% siding with Ceci Iglesias (17% undecided). Moreover, Trans definite support level is higher than that of Congresswoman Sanchez (30% definitely voting for Tran 28% definitely voting for Sanchez).
- While there are certainly solid ethnic coalitions in this race Asian and Vietnamese voters siding with Tran, Latinos favoring Sanchez Tran enjoys a commanding 34-point lead with White voters in the district (60% Tran 26% Sanchez).
- Van Tran also polls strongly with Independent voters (42% Tran 28% Sanchez) and older voters (50% Tran 30% Sanchez) two groups that are likely going to determine the victor here.
- Van Tran has a commanding 22-point lead over Sanchez (52% - 30%) among voters who say they are extremely interested in the upcoming elections (rate their interest a 10on a one-to-ten scale). Among a broader high interest segment of the electorate the 8-10s Tran is up eight points (44% - 38%).

With just a little help, we might be able to defeat both Sanchez sisters. Larry Andre is fighting a valiant door-to-door campaign against Linda Sanchez (the younger, fatter and liberal sister) and he's doing so without much money.

We just made a contribution. His fund raising goal is only $10,000. He is a little over that now but Freepers could make his day a really big one.
Even a small $10 donation would be big here.

The pervert was there on Friday and the FREE rally drew a crowd of about 1000.
Sarah Palin was in OC Saturday and tickets sold for a minimum of $20. Even so, the crowd was estimated to be about 2000.
Note the canker on the pervert's lip.

Tran is probably ahead with live, legally registered voters.
But his utter failure to address the needs of Loretta's key constituencies could do him in. Live illegal aliens aside, Tran needs to concentrate on those dead, illegal aliens, and their families. He also needs to pay more attention to Sanchez' "virtual" voters living at created addresses, not to mention their "virtual" families. The incarcerated and felon vote is important, too.

We probably should give a little money to Cecil Iglesias so that she'll stay in the race.

Iglesias was a Republican and could very well be pulling votes from Tran.

The undecideds always break for the challenger and AGAINST the incumbent. Tran could send that b**** packing.

Iglesias was a Republican and could very well be pulling votes from Tran.
But, with a Hispanic surname, she will pull more votes from Sanchez.

Stand a hundred feet from the polling place and carry a sign stating noncitizens voting are subject to deportation. By standing at a legal distance and stating a factual truth you can argue you are merely educating potential voters.

But, with a Hispanic surname, she will pull more votes from Sanchez. That's yet to be determined.
She was a registered Republican and voted in Republican primaries until last year when she registered as a "Decline to State" voter. She says she's a fiscal conservative and the Sanchez camp has been pushing that line every chance they get.
I think both camps have reason to worry.

CA is one of those places where no ID is required to vote. It's a completely insane law, if one should choose to call it that.
Voter Registration State ID Requirement (See also Chapter 1)
SB 1016 (signed into law in October 2005 and effective January 1, 2006) amends California Elections Code section 2150(7) to conform Californias voter
registration requirements to the requirements of HAVA. Now, under both federal
law and state law, voters must provide their drivers license number if they have a
valid and current drivers license or the number provided on a California state
identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. If they do not,
they are required to provide the last four digits of their social security number. If
they do not have a drivers license number, state identification number or social
security number, the state will assign them a unique number, which will be their
identifier for purposes of voter registration.

Frosting on the cake at about 2AM EST on November 3rd. Something tells me a lot of us are going to be up that late because the flow of good news will just keep on coming.

radpolis, are you aware in California if a poll workers asks for proof of a person's citizenship, they can be prosecuted more than the person voting illegally? Only in the leftists state of communism, Mexifornia.
I live in Mexifornia and I am not surprised of any of the tricks of the trade the leftist elites have set up so they never lose control of the state. ‘Moon beam’ Brown is one of the worst. Tied with Nazi Pelosi, Boxer, Dirty Sanchez and all the other dirtbags. This state doesn't have a problem with the lack of tax money coming in. The problem is with all of the over spending paying all these union retirements set up by Brown. I can only pray to God and vote Republican to hopefully see this state survive the ‘death panels’ the Democrats, Marxists and progressives have been setting up for decades trying to eventually kill this state. If not, Texas is looking very inviting.
