As an Iranian American I bleed with sorrow to watch the name of the country of my birth dragged through the mud in such ways by these demonic terrorists, and only once did I watch these barbarian savages pull a man’s eyeballs out while still conscience and casually drop it in a bucket. Words cannot describe the emotions.
It's got to be particularly difficult for someone like you to watch this happen.I don't know much about Iranian/Persian history but what little I've read suggests that your homeland was once an advanced and "enlightened" land.
parisa, you have my sympathy. I have long admired the Achaemenids and Sassanids, and a people who would “ride the horse, shoot the bow, and speak the truth”.
The disgusting incident you describe in blinding the man - was that done under some religious claim, or was it merely an example of totalitarian savagery?
What was that poor soul’s crime?
