An Iranian court has condemned a man convicted of robbing chocolates and cocoa from a Tehran pastry shop to have a hand chopped off, Fars news agency reported on Saturday.

Indeed, everything in the islamist republic ruling Iran is done under the fraudulent claim of religious doctrine, but of course everyone understands implicitly and explicitly what it truly is, which is terrorizing oppression.
It not for me to watch such things. I couldn’t bear it. It truly takes everything in me to even read about it and I know for certain that these people are invariably innocent of any crimes, but this is the islamist states method of intimidation and terrorizing the citizens into submission.

Iran that I lived in was truly as pure water to the mucky black oil inside that ruined miserable land today. Everything is destroyed there. Sometimes I have so much anger at the leftists with their pretensions of activist outrage and remorse at the cutting of some trees or the rights of some fish, but don’t give a damn — or outright excuse! — the destruction of a whole culture and civilization and millions of people.
I am sorry. I had hopes for the Green Revolution, and was surprised that the neighboring states did not provide the people with small arms.
Persia is a culture millenia old, and has risen up from under oppressors several times. If this current malevolent regime does not provoke a nuclear exchange, there will be another uprising and renewal.

Although I never witnessed it personally, I was told that the Saudis actually lop a hand off as humanely as possible. The amputee must have been convicted three times of theft. The amputation is carried out by a physician who anesthetizes the thief; immediately following the lopping, the doctor cauterizes the site. Now THAT’S civilized! During the trial, the testimony of three women equals that of one man. For capital cases, the murderer is relieved of his head publicly on Fridays after prayers. Cruel and unusual punishment along with being barred from owning arms is the first and most vivid sign of a slave population.
