What??????? They’re saying Betsy Markey is being cut loose because she’s a progressive???? But, but, but, all her TV ads say she’s a double-dog BlueDog CONSERVATIVE Democrat!!!!! I mean after all, she only voted for ObamaCare Cap’N Tax, Trillion Dollar Baby, No Election Unions, Pelosi for Speaker, and all the rest of the Marixist lineup, but none of the really bad progressive things, right? Wow, I’d sure hate to meet a REAL progressive if Betsy ain’t one of ‘em!
It is funny to watch the TV ads here in Illinois, every candidate is an “outsider” for change and against Washington. The dems are trying to portray the R’s as “Washington insiders” and “career politicians” who will “do the same thing they’ve always done”, while the D commercials (even for the long term incumbents) portray themselves as “outsiders” with no ties to Blago and Obama, who are for real change, etc.
Also, no yard signs have a D next to them (except Alexi) and they are all red. Only the republicans are indicating which party they are from.
