Since Michelle was there simply as a voter, and not a poll watcher, poll officer, or political party officer or candidate, she was probably quite free to say whatever she wished ~ just like I do when we are standing there as a family with our friends, in line, going in to vote a straight Republican ticket.

We have to verify things to make sure no one is tricked by the Democrats.

Too many people forget that she's not just a giant levitating Wookie, she's also a voter ~ and as I always say, as I'm sure she does as well, VOTE EARLY AND OFTEN!

“Since Michelle was there simply as a voter...”

You are incorrect. No one is allowed to campaign within a certain number of feet from the poll, and certainly not while inside the poll location.

However, like others have pointed out, she is the First Lady and she will be given a pass on this.
