“women hate her”

In the year of the grizzly? I don’t see it. If you mean lesbos and feminists(is that a redundancy?) you might be right.

They were tired of Bush / Iraq.

But Reids a man and Angle is a woman, and didn’t you say that men beat women?

Christine was the far better candidate appearance / style wise in the debate.

There’s a “jealousy” factor among women, especially older women I think that could be showing up.

That’s because Christine might be too good looking and on top of things.

A good, LOUD “excuse me, can I FINISH?” would have done wonders for her, and her image

And she would have been massacred for sounding "witchy" (sorry, or the b word)

Truth is, she didn't stand a chance. 3 vs 1 and loaded questions from the audience.

Saddest part of the COD saga is that when the media seeks to destroy someone, they are very successful. Millions more saw her lampooned by SNL than saw this charade of a debate. Anyone who didn't see the debate will see any clip that can be made fun of. The MSM sets the narrative and it's near impossible to fight it.

Yes, indeed. She battled the two moderators and Coons and still came out the winner!

She got in good slams (Reid's Pet, Bearded Marxist) and she was very knowledgeable.

Christine did as well as Coons did - she was painted as a crazy person. The media set the bar extremely low and she passed with flying colors.

On style - you are high if you think that Coons bald unattractiveness is an asset to him.

And you’re high if you think that anything about Christines appearance or voice or anything is bad in any way.

Yes, people vote on superficialities. And Christine wins all that.

Did you not notice how after every question Coons would say “oh, I have no time to answer that”. 20 times. Watch the repeat and it’s a fun drinking game. That’s “style”. Christine was on point.

“I’m looking at that data. She had 2.6 million on her website a couple weeks back, right after the primary. Why are the 2 numbers so different”?

Good question. Given that Opensecrets.org gets their numbers from the FEC and the FEC is a governmental organization and being the typical efficient and timely body that all govermental organizations are...:)

But that decision was 2005, Sandra Day O’Connor wrote the decision. This was pre-Roberts court and not a recent decision. Wolfe insisted on something recent? IF you are a conservative there hasn’t been a lot “lately” to take exception to.

Only if all of you don’t go out and knock on doors, man phones and start talking her up absolutely everywhere is it lost.

“On the downbeat side, one thing not mentioned by FDU in its summary but worth flagging in the crosstabs is how much worse O’Donnell’s doing among women than men. Among male likely voters, Coons leads 50/41; among women, it’s 56/32. That’s strikingly similar to CNN’s poll of this race from a few weeks ago, which showed a roughly even split among men but a 29-point lead for Coons among female voters. The tea party’s favorable rating in Delaware is equally skewed: Overall it’s 34/48 but just 40/45 among men versus … 29/51 among women.”

So, is Palin destroyed for 2012, or the front-runner.

Palin was not destroyed by the media. You don’t see Huckabee or Romney or Gingrich out there being cared about by anybody.

And there’s no doubt that the media is TRYING to destroy Christine. We’ll know in November how well they do.

If Obama wants to campaign for safe seats, he can go to Hawaii, Vermont or Maryland.

He knows there’s a real contest in DE, and it’s one of the few places that he and Biden are competitive.

Delaware is about as Liberal as Maryland. What’s going on in MD? Is Obama going to Maryland to try to help Barbara?

No. Because in a liberal state like MD, just like DE, the Dem should just win. Eric is a weak candidate, and Christine is a strong candidate. If she’s not President, she could be in that seat for 30 years.

Point being - Maryland is not more liberal than DE. They’re both equal. But Maryland is safe and the Dems are sending DSCC money and DSCC staff to Delaware. Why? Because Christine is super strong.

They don’t talk about people on TV all the time if they aren’t stars. Christine is a star.

There were new polls out yesterday. The male / female gap is still there.

On top, it says October 13. Below it says September 13.
It’s possible those are pre primary numbers. But she’s at $4 million now since the primary.

Don’t get me wrong, personally I think she’s top priority. The best we’ve got in many respects. There are a lot of reasons that Conservatives should want to win this race.

A Conservative wins in DE, a Conservative can win everywhere.

What kind of education do you need to be a Senator? Do you need Ivy League? Christine beats the millionaire heir to the gore-tex fortune who graduated from Yale Law. Yeah, Conservatives want that. We want this one.

I don’t know what could overcome such a bizarre gender gap, but this debate will definitely soften it some.

Christine was impressive, and Coons surely annoyed a few women.

I think the biggest message from the debate was to let the apathetic/doubtful/(hostile?) republicans, see that it is OK to vote for O’Donnell.

Actually I believe that Obama has been to the state of Maryland twice in recent weeks.
