Also, being 'subject to the jurisdiction' has never been shown to apply to anyone who does not have a permanent domicil and is not a permanent resident, such as Barak Sr. So, you're right. Obama may not even be a 14th amendment citizen.

Actually, the only debate in legal circles is if it applies to ILLEGAL ALIENS and not just aliens. I say no, since the meaning required someone to be here in amity - in harmony - with the government. But Barack Obama Sr was living here full time with the permission of the US government. Furthermore, Obama Sr divorced while still in the USA, and Obama’s mother had full custody - and she was an American citizen.
