Those who internalize the anger and shame will often become promiscuous and/or substance abusers. Sometimes "cutters". But there are those who deal with it by passing it on to the next generation. Sometimes abusing their own children.
Victimized children too often spend the rest of their lives searching for an escape from the inner turmoil caused by these self indulgent predators. Theirs is a daily torment.
It is not "intergenerational love" ... It is theft of the innocence from a child's trusting soul.
