Yea, when the CFL’s burn out, I throw them away, when they break, I clean ‘em up and throw them away. I don’t call the HAZMAT team, I don’t replace my carpet and repaint my room. I even dropped one in my kids towybox once and it broke. I cleaned it up and threw it away.
I have a container full of mercury in a drawer....I use it in gun barrels that are leaded up...the lead melts into the mercury at room temp... cleaning the lead out of the gun.
