Same here. These new bulbs are pieces of crap. Our local power co. is subsidizing the changing out of our halogens for the multi-bulb T5's. I calculate it will take at least 5 years to pay for the change-over.

Plus, if one ballast goes out, then both must be changed. Also, if one bulb goes out, it is best to change them all. In addition, I have to arrange for a man-lift to change the bulbs because the fixture is 18 ft. in the air.

Like the gallon and a half toilet flush, Congress has screwed this up.

I always figured that old man Kohler had done all the engineering R & D necessary to build a proper flush toilet.
When he started out, lots of places didn’t even have running water in the house. Then, as the house was plumbed, there was a tank in the attic to flush with the minimum of water needed.

Congress doen’s know anything about light bulbs or toilets.

Altho- lots of members of Congress will be IN THE TOILET come Nov 4.!
