"It's going to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court's going to decide whether or not the Constitution of the United States permits the government to order the American people to purchase goods or services, whether they want them or need them or not," Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) said. (source WLS-AM)

You are correct. The fact that this has already happened (and it’s happened in plenty of other areas of life also) does not mean we must accept that a further unconstitutional program can be created. But that is where we have been my whole life (40ish). Incrementalism reaches everyone’s doorstep eventually.
As we can plainly see now, SS and Medicare will be serving the exact purpose they were intended to serve, which was to provide a beach-head from which the final assault on our “rights” is launched.
Each of us has to decide when “enough is enough”, maybe this heathcare lie/scam has waken people up, we’ll see.
Well bert, that may be true for those who decide to go along to get along allowing the encroachment of ever more of our freedoms. I have other plans.
I will NOT purchase mandatory health insurance.
I will NOT pay a fine.
They will NOT take me to jail alive.
"All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void." --- Marbury ~vs~ Madison, 5 US (2 Cranch) 137, 174, 176, (1803
"An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed." --- Norton ~vs~ Shelby County, 118 US 425 p. 442.
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of it's enactment, not merely from the date of the decision branding it. "No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it." --- 16 Am Jur 2d, Sec 177, late 2d, Sec 256.
"We the People are the rightful master of both congress and the courts - not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."
Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln/Douglas Debate, 1858.
Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.
James Madison
WE the PEOPLE have allowed these criminals in CONgre$$ to systematically encroach our freedoms while we stood around saying there is nothing we can do...it is the law. All the while adopting the commie talking points and acquiescing to their power grabs. See K.I.S.S., seat belt laws, smoking laws, helmet laws, trans-fat BS, salt BS, sugar BS .....
And what was the common denominator to all of these power grabs? That's right...HEALTH and safety!
If you want to Socialize a country, you must FIRST take over its healthcare."
Lenin!
So everyone just stay calm and agreeable. Commiecare won't be so bad...it's for our own good, doncha know.
If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.
WINSTON CHURCHILL
