If they took the kids, left the cointry and a terror attack occurred,,the blowback would be like nothing ever seen.
According to an article by Doug Powers, on Michelle Malkin's site, Obama is leaving the evening of Nov. 4th, arriving in India on the 5th. He's planning on returning to D.C. on the 14th. With weekends included, the girls would only be missing 7 days of school. It makes you wonder if they are having problems with their studies if the school is saying they can't miss school for a lousy week.
