One thing to note: In New Orleans after Katrina and only the thugs had firearms, there was looting, burglary, murder, mayhem. Across the river in Mississippi where law abiding citizens exercised their Second Amendment rights, there was very little trouble. You decide.

I’m trying to track down a story about a sheriff in Louisianna, I think, who stationed his armed deputies at the countyline - don’t know where but it had to be somewhere near New Orleans - and refused to allow the feds into his county after Katrina.
Have you any knowledge of this?
