Well, that was an educated response - but I fall back on my training.
The emotion of “hate” - the dislike of someone so intense that you would kill them on sight - is a sin.
We are to hate sin, but love our enemies. Unfortunately, I’m terrible at loving my enemies and there are still some sins that I don’t hate. Maybe I get credit for the fact that I hate the fact that I don’t hate certain sins.
