This illustrates the problem with one-issue thinkers.

They will get more anti-gun laws if they get their wish, more anti-gun judges, more anti-gun funding

NRA’s supporters always argue that “It’s their policy to support the incumbents who have been good to the 2nd Amendment...” Well, this guy is NOT an incumbent (neither was Manchin in WV) yet they endorse him anyway. The Republican Fincher is a life member of NRA.

I truly don’t understand why the NRA is doing this unless they have been infiltrated by socialist. It doesn’t make sense to back any Democrat in this climate as almost all of them are koolaid drinkers as are too many republicans.

I’m a life member and I haven’t sent any money to them in last 8 months, from the looks of it I won’t be sending any in the future. They can keep there buckles, pins and hats.

Are they too stupid to think BIG PICTURE and that the DEMs leadership is all anti-gun now?

Can someone contact Wayne LaPierre and talk some sense to him?

Charlton Heston is spinning in his grave

They do have to strike a certain balance, or the Democrats would all go for gun control, since they’d have nothing to lose.

But from what we’ve been seeing here in the past few weeks, the NRA has really succeeded in jumping the shark. Their base is in no mood to put up with this kind of nonsense, when our country is teetering on the brink of an abyss.

It might make sense to say that both candidates meet their standards, if they do. But just to endorse the Democrat? And to endorse Democrats who are not even incumbents? And endorse them in a year when there is likely to be an absolute conservative avalanche?

It looks as if the NRA, like the Republican Party, is either going to have to be fixed—or replaced.

The NRA has been endorsing Republicans and Democrats for 75+ years. It's not the Republican NRA, it's the NRA.
