The NRA has one responsibility, and one only: to protect gun rights.
Imagine this scenario: Harry Reid, a staunch defender of gun rights, believe it or not, is defeated by Sharron Angle, but the GOP does NOT get a majority in the Senate:
Do you know who would become Senate Majority Leader?
Chuckie Schumer, that’s who: the gun owner’s worst nightmare...
So what? Schumer and Reid would lead a Democrat majority equally bad on guns because they BOTH are putting anti-gun judges up on the bench.
By failing to oppose every single Democratic Senator who voted for Obama’s judges, the NRA is failig their responsibility to protect gun rights.
He has to deal with a far more conservative Senate.
Yeah and how many gun grabbing judges has harry voted for? Sure you get a win every now and then legislatively but the judges he gives consent to the bench overturn the law and do more drastic damage. Further, what about the bureaucracies harry and the dems support which through regulations restrict your 2nd amendment rights?
The NRA is cutting off it’s nose despite it’s face and not looking at their long term efforts.
