I’ll give the benefit of the doubt, but I still say,...is she the BEST this country can do? The best candidate we can find? I can’t believe it. There must be a American with entrepreneurial skill and Conservative values who can stay the course, say what they mean and mean what they say.

Might work. Saying she will go to Washington and do what you’d do.

Yo I’ve often thought of running for office - but do I want my life destroyed by democrat thugs? I don’t think so.
I’m willing to fight to the death to defend my liberty and property. But for the chance to become a playa in Congress? I don’t think so.

-"... is she the BEST this country can do?" She wants to fight the Socialists and Communists on our behalf, and you're worried about just exactly what?

None of the really ambitious, intellegent, energetic, talented people want to run for public office and have to put up with our absolutely rediculous election process. Once a law is passed making lying in a political campain a capital offense, there will be an immediate upturn in the number of bright, honest people running for public office...but don’t hold your breath...ain’t gonna happen.

Awful. Made me gag. Hideously bad. Pathetic.
Ps-- Limbaugh panned it too, so there.

Well, Doc, probably not. But, there are a lot of reasons why people don't run:
1. You have to either have a lot of money or be an insider and have connections. (Her connection: She ran against Biden.)
2. People don't want their youthful indiscretions, from when they were 18 years of age, splattered all over the internet and the lame-stream media because they smoked pot and had sex on Prom Night.
3. People do not want to subject themselves to the rigorous campaign schedules, separation from family, possible defamation of character with little or no recourse to respond........
But, I think #1 is the Primary reason a lot of good people do not run. You almost have to be very wealthy to run for Governor, Congressman or Senator. But, hey, I have an idea:
WHY DON'T YOU RUN, DOC???

Hope it works. Why the black background? Why didn’t she state what she would do? A few simple specifics would be nice. She did seem sincere, but some might think she was being cute.
If she wins, the Dims will go into shock.

but I still say,...is she the BEST this country can do? And come from Delaware? Let's not leave out that small part. You're asking country-wide, but the candidate comes from Delaware or gets called a carpetbagger.

I hope you're kidding Huck. I hope you just forgot the "Sarcasm" tag. And, I'm so tired of my Conservative brothers and sisters having a political orgasm everytime Rush says something. I like Rush, but HE IS NOT INFALLIBLE!!!

“The real lesson that GOP needs to learn here is to rally around an electable conservative from the get-go instead of backing the Castles early on.”
I think this is Christine's 3rd time to run for Senate. IMHO I think the Republicans in Delaware knew she would be a weak candidate which is why they wanted Castle (RINO or not). I think most Republicans would love to have electable strong Conservatives but if you do not have one what are going to do? So groups outside of Delaware sweep in and help O'Donnell knock of the stronger Republican candidate. Hopefully it works out but I think this one is lost.
